One of the disturbing questions encountered by most humans is generally about the lives of their own look alike, the Mountains Gorillas. Gorillas are lovely and social animals who usually form harems which can be compared to groups / extended gorilla families.

These precious creatures are so much endangered, the reason why in Uganda they are being highly conserved and protected, and they only exist in very isolated habitats. Of the three subspecies of gorillas, the mountain gorilla is the largest and rarest. Remarkably strong, the mountain gorilla has a short trunk and a broad chest and shoulders. Males develop a streak of silver hair on their backs when they mature and are termed as"silverbacks."

Gorillas in the pearl of Africa (Uganda) can only be seen in national game parks like Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and Mgahinga Gorilla national park. 

Their presence in Uganda constitutes a rise in tourism activities like Gorilla trekking and Gorilla habituation experience with more tours and Safaris made in Uganda annually by tourists and various visitors in the country.

For a person who has not read about gorillas or has less information about them, a buzzing and most striking question is how gorillas live, do they live alone?.

Uganda has mountain gorillas which also take on a name scientifically called "Gorilla beringei beringei". These have occasionally been a fancy for travelers undertaking gorilla tours in Uganda

Mountain gorillas are usually found in forest ecosystems the case in point for their presence in forest areas especially around mountains. These continue to live in groups since they take on a little resemblances and character of human beings. 

The mother gorillas can be seen around their babies, breastfeeding them or cleaning them, especially in case they have some ticks or dirt on them. The young ones stay with mothers till they are around 5 years old.

Mountain gorillas live for so long, up to 53 years the reason to why their life expectancy is high if not  endangered by human beings, diseases, bad weather like earth quake, and many other destructive tendencies.

The gorillas can be captured and used for entertainment in zoos and theaters. These are caged and trained to adopt human ways of life, a reason as to why they are closely related and compared to man due to their ability to succumb to human nature life style.

They are exclusively intelligent and have a high intellectual ability to sense what is good and bad for them. They react according to the sense and instinct about that which seems to threaten their well being.
