Amazing for the very first
time, Rwanda will be hosting this year’s World travel Gala, an event that will
remain on the global map in this country’s history. The event is dubbed ‘the world travel awards” with the Africa Gala ceremony scheduled to take
place on 10th October 2017 and is intended to attract many people from all walks
of life, since it comes once in lifetime. The world travel gala was established
way back in 1993 to award and celebrate excellent performers in the world’s
tourism sector, including travel, tourism and hospitality industry.
It is recognized to hallmark performance of
tourism industry and will be held under the auspices of Africa hotel investment
forum (AHIF) and the Avia Dev Africa in Rwanda.
It will be a great honor to meet the world
travel awards president and the founder Graham Cooke,
who will be live in Rwanda to attend the event and present about the regional
phenomenological success in relation to tourism and travel.
A number of amazing
activities will be performed, starting with a visitation to the most outstanding,
spectacular and cleanest capital of Rwanda with her most beautiful, central
strategic position in the heart of Africa and the most attractive city in Africa.
Other activities will include towering the highest peak of the mountain of the
virgin rain forests, trekking all the gorilla families in Rwanda and visiting the magnificent thunderous waterfalls in
Rwanda, rare wildlife species that position Rwanda as the most fantastic and
rightful tourist destination in Africa.
The event will be attended
by the highest number of people both from Rwanda and neighboring countries,
international tour operators, airline corporations, tourism board members of different
countries and most of the multi-national hotel chains in Africa and others.
Several
companies like Rwanda air- the National carrier, Radisson Blu Hotel &
Convention Centre have been nominated for this edition of the World Travel
Awards in 4 and 5 different categories respectively as stated by the chief
tourism officer of Rwanda. This will also be accompanied by
online voting and awarding the winners of the region, in addition to the honor,
it exposes the overall winner of awards in
all categories in regards to enjoy some commercial benefits.
